# The lake at Nordvik Stay

_Around the house_

## Between the water and the *mountains*

Nordvik Stay sits right on the lake shore, with the mountains rising behind the house. We built our days around that view, and so did our rooms: every one of them looks at the water.

In summer the hiking trails start at our door. You can lace up after breakfast and be on the path within a minute. If you'd rather ride, borrow one of our bikes. They're part of your stay, just like the sauna and the parking.

When you come back, the **terrace over the water** is where the evening begins. In winter, the sauna is the reason many of our guests return. You get warm, look out at the cold, still lake, then have dinner in our restaurant.

We're a small family house, so you'll talk to the same people from the day you arrive to the day you leave. Ask us about the walks. We know them well.

## On the shore, near the village

Parking at the house is free for guests. The village is a ten-minute walk along the lake.
